The stages of formal examination and presentation of the projects of the competition, organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, have been completed. The Zhiguli Valley Technopark has become one of the 18 venues for the federal stage of the UMNIK youth innovation Project competition. 168 projects of young researchers from all over the Volga Federal District have passed the stage of defending their ideas. The projects were evaluated by 24 experts who represented the leading innovative enterprises and universities in the region: Samara National Research University named after academician S.P. Korolev, Samara State Medical University, Samara State Technical University, Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, Tolyatti State University, Volga State University of Service, companies "Alvirity" and "AIR-Systems" are residents of the Zhiguli Valley Technopark.
